Lehrman Community Day School was founded in 1960 by Rabbi Irving Lehrman and is the only pluralistic Jewish day school in Miami Beach. Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic teacher for our elementary school. The ideal candidate will love children, understand and develop the whole child and be comfortable and willing to teach various subjects in upper elementary school (3rd, 4th and 5th grades).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Teach the following subjects: math, reading, writing and social studies
- Plan lessons ahead of time and share them with the Director of Education
- Work with a variety of abilities within the classroom
- Collaborate with team members
- Communicate with parents in a respectful, professional and appropriate manner

- A diverse skills set and the ability to bring in different activities and games that will strengthen students’ fine and gross motor skills.
- A master’s degree in a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Personal qualities of integrity, kindness, approachability, and a strong work ethic.
- Punctuality and the ability to be present in school during school hours.
- Desire for growth and constant self-improvement.
